Clean out your bookshelves
Host a book drive at your school, work place, church, or gym
Ask your local schools and public libraries for books being taken out of circulation

We need elementary-level books (picture books and story books for beginner readers, short chapter books for established readers), dictionaries, and complete encyclopedia sets published within the last 10 years.

DONATE BOOKS

Have your child's school, scout troop, or youth group hold a school supply drive
Ask your employer or school district if they would donate their old laptops
Clean out your child's toy chest before his/her next birthday by donating gently used toys

We need general school supplies (pens/pencils, crayons, construction paper, notebooks, rulers, backpacks), eduational toys for play time and recess (puzzles, blocks/Legos, jump ropes), DVD players, and functioning laptops.

Organize a car wash, bake sale, or local restaurant night fundraiser
Nominate LPL to be one of your employer's designated charities

LPF is a 100% volunteer non-profit, so every dollar donated goes directly to either the purchase of supplies and food for the children, or the cost of shipping.
